  • Fume cupboard testing and certifying

Why is balancing of HVAC air and water systems so critical?

The balancing of air and water flow in an air conditioning system is essential to obtain the optimum efficiency from the system and controllability of indoor air quality. Unbalanced systems can cause uneven temperatures throughout the building and wastes energy in overcompensating for uncontrolled areas.

We can investigate and diagnose existing air conditioning problems that can cause poor indoor air quality and employee working conditions such as hot and cold room temperatures, high and low humidity levels, excessive drafts and noise, stuffiness, excessive use of energy etc.

Hurricane Services offer comprehensive Operating and Maintenance manuals for mechanical, electrical or hydraulic services. Typically these will include the following sections:

  1. Manual introduction
  2. Description of the systems installed
  3. Operating instructions
  4. Routine maintenance requirements
  5. Equipment and supplier contact details
  6. Manufacturer’s data for equipment installed
  7. Commissioning and performance test reports
  8. Compliance certificates
  9. Post completion modifications
